Physical Makeup:

Physical presence, standing 6’5”, 210, with a towering athletic frame. Lightfoot shows strength from top to bottom; he needs to tap into more of that strength to generate better bat speed. He’s proven to have a strong arm along with great athletic ability. 

Initial Evaluation Synopsis 

Lightfoot projects well while stepping on any ball field. From the Futures Stars series to the Canadian Futures, his presence embeds well onto a professional field. His physical ability is noticed off the bat. 

With the bat, he has more than what he shows. His showing at this scouting event sold himself short, while heating up in round two of his batting practice. He has raw power with decent bat speed and more in the tank. Lightfoot needs to stay back, and explode with the barrel into his pitch. His physical approach seems to lose out on his front side where his weight levers. 

He has way more in the tank and expects to see a performance during game play. He’s currently on the exit velocity leader-board, sitting at 102 mph. 

Lightfoot is also a presence in the outfield where he displayed a pattern of footwork, and let loose a cannon of an arm to third base and to home.
