Synopsis

Mina has transformed his body from average performance to elite performance; this has been the biggest piece to his overall development. He’s worked with professional trainers to execute a professional athlete strength and conditioning program, where his movement has inclined.

His 6’3” 205 lbs frame makes him a real physical presence on the field and in the batters box. The lefty-hitter moves the barrel of the bat well through the zone with a consistent power-swing, giving good air time and line-drive style rips.

He can use the whole field, with a dominance of up the middle and pull-side. Mina went yard opposite field and straight-away center field. His approach is to stay up the middle with good launch led by quick hands and average bat speed.

He sees the ball well and has good pitch recognition. Mina will be a solid addition to Vernon College, adding depth to their lineup as well as run production. He’s projectable from an offensive stand-point and is solid defensively at first base.
