Background
Sebastian Khan is a right-handed pitcher for Wheeling University, in the Mountain East Conference. The pitcher was a two-way option prior to starting his college career at Indian Hills Community College. His arm was noticeably workable and projectable, pushing him to being a very reliable guy on the bump.
Khan switched up his arm slot after rehabbing from an injury, and it was probably one of the best things he did, aside from his physical work. Metrics got better for the right-hander, and results in games were there. He performed well in two seasons of summer ball in the Coastal Plain League, and that led to a stellar collegiate send off, winning the Mountain East Conference Pitcher of the Year. He was a part of a three pitcher no-hitter against West Liberty, and was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-Region list.
Physical Maturity
Khan is a 6’1” 200 lbs monster on the mound, who holds a strong presence on the bump with a big-athletic frame. He occupies the mound, moves well with athleticism, and a strong arm.

Synopsis
The big right-hander was always a fundamental pitcher from high school and travel ball all the way up to college play. He maintained a good foundation of mechanics and strength, and compounded that to the pitcher he is today.
Khan moved from a predominately over-the-top delivery and 3/4 delivery to a lower side-arm slot. His release point brings a massive break on the horizontal end, making pitch recognition and pick-up difficult for hitters.
Khan is a strikeout machine, sitting hitters regularly, as his command and junk play off one-another. He has pitch-ability and throws a ton of strikes. Khan has upside, and would be a great addition to a minor league program, out of the bullpen and a short-inning starter.
