He stands at a tall 6’5” weighing 225 lbs. He shows a slim-athletic build with long limbs and good lower half reach from his stride. His arms are long, getting out in front on his release, eating inches from the 60 feet distance. 

He’s strong, displaying both arm strength and lower half versatility. This high-schooler has a lot of upside in terms of body and athletic development. 

Synopsis

Wachsmann is a right-handed high school pitcher out of Grandview High School in Colorado. He towers on the bump with good vertical height and strong athletic weight. He moves well on the mound with a leg-kick from both the full and the stretch.

Wachsmann’s gather and lead-leg lock allows for good torque and powerful hip motion, staying strong on his back half. He has a repeated delivery out front and finishes well. 

His fastball is strong with bite, working consistently at 97 mph, touching up to 100 mph. His curveball and slider rotate for his outpitch; they miss barrels and cause chase. 

At the 2026 MLB draft combine, the right-hander did leave his numerical marks, topping 100 mph with a spin rate of 2916 RPM.
